    Matt Nathanson's New Music Video Will Make You Cry...

    And if it doesn't you might want to check your heartbeat. Matt Nathanson decided to help raise awareness and funds for Starkey Hearing Foundation by volunteering in Peru, and making the official music video for his single "Headphones." 100% of artist and label proceeds from the official video are being donated to Starkey Hearing Foundation.     1. Matt needed to film a music video for his single "Headphones," so he decided to use the video to raise awareness for a good cause

    He joined Starkey Hearing Foundation on a trip to Peru to help those with hearing loss regain their hearing.

    2. He left his hometown of San Francisco at 5am

    3. And took a series of planes...

    4. ...to Huancayo, Peru

    Travel time took almost 24 hours, what a day!

    5. He arrived at the Starkey Clinic in Huancayo

    Starkey Hearing Foundation has similar clinics to this one all over the world. They deliver the gift of hearing to thousands of people each year who would otherwise live in the isolation of a silent world. Many celebrities including Bill Clinton and Tony Hawk are involved with the charity.

    6. 100s of people from all over Peru were waiting to receive hearing aids

    Peru actually has the highest concentration of those with hearing loss, making it one of the biggest clinics for Starkey.

    7. Once inside, Matt, along with the other volunteers, helped place the hearing aids

    8. And within seconds, the patients were able to hear (some for the first time)...

    Over the span of 48 hours, they gave away 1000+ hearing aids to people in need.
