This New "Game Of Thrones" Filming Location Could Confirm A Huge Fan Theory

If you don't want to know what MIGHT happen in Season 6, it's probably best to look away now.

If there's one thing we know about Game of Thrones fans, it's that they like to speculate.

Earlier this week HBO announced some new filming locations for Season 6. One of which was Castillo de Zafra in Guadalajara, Spain.

To many people who have read the books, there is one Westerosi location that this looks like above all others: the Tower of Joy.

As this all happened 17 years before the events of the show, the inclusion of the tower could mean that we get to see flashbacks.

A few weeks ago HBO announced some (unnamed) roles it was casting, one of which was simply called "Legendary Fighter".

So why is this relevant? Well, guess where Ser Arthur Dayne died...

OK, so maybe this is all a bit of a jump from one filming location announcement, but Season 5 suggested that R+L=J confirmation wasn't too far off.

From Baelish's knowing look in the crypt at Winterfell, to this perfectly timed entrance from the new Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.

Worst-case scenario: None of this is true. This tower is something completely different. None of us are any the wiser as to what's going to happen next season.

Best-case scenario: the Tower of Joy? R+L=J confirmed? More Sean Bean? Arthur Dayne? Lyanna Stark? Howland Reed? Rhaegar Targaryen? Jon Tagaryen?
