1. You keep reading the weather forecasts and imagining the worst.
2. You watch from your window in horror as everything becomes a solid white.
3. You try to be excited about a possible snow day, but you don't know what's to come.
4. For starters, going anywhere means walking in looking like THIS.
5. Taking off your gloves to text your friends brings you one step closer to death.
6. And no boots can prepare you for walking through 18 inches of HELL.
7. Your home basically becomes an arctic tundra.
8. So you bump up the heat all the way and hope for the best.
9. Staying in, you can get comfy and wear what you want, which is a major plus.
10. Speaking of cozy: you decide that now is the perfect time to invite that ~winter crush~ over.
11. And then you end up snowed in together, which is either the best or worst thing in the world.
12. You realize you did not stock up on enough groceries, meaning you and your roommates are going to have to share.
13. You have never known true boredom until this moment. You'd do anything to just go to dinner or drinks, OMG.
14. At one point, you do decide to try and brave it, only to turn around and go home immediately.
15. You think of all the cool things you COULD be doing if not for the snow.
16. If you see another snowflake in your life, it will be too soon.
17. You truly begin to wonder if the snow will ever cease to fall.
18. But soon you realize that it's blizzards like these that bring you closer to your friends and loved ones, which provides a sort of inner warmth.
19. JK NO IT DOESN'T AND THIS IS THE WORST.
