Hi. My name is Sam, and I moved from the East Coast to L.A. a little over a year ago. That's a big move!
First of all...
Sports (unless someone is winning).
New York.
Now without further ado, I give you:
1. Where you're originally from.
2. Earthquakes (obvi).
3. Traffic (VERY obvi).
4. The Valley.
5. Directions, and more specifically, your directions advice.
As we've discussed, L.A. is a driving town. You are destined to spend lots of time in your car, so any way to cut down on transportation time is a very, very good thing! Of course, everyone has their tips/hacks for getting from Point A to Point B in the most efficient manner possible. "Take Fountain" is a THING.
Driving is something everyone in L.A. has in common, so to drop driving tips and advice is a way of expressing that you've mastered the city better than others. It's basically like, "I'm better at driving than you and here's why." So get your traffics tips ready, because you need to be spreading the love!
