It's not the first time Pluto has been characterised as sad and lonely.
The same thing happened in 2006, when its status as a planet was revoked by the International Astronomical Union.
But you shouldn't feel too sorry for Pluto. It has Charon to keep it company!
Plus, like, four other moons.
Not to mention the Kuiper belt.
But that doesn't mean it won't still be out there, patiently awaiting our return.
