The F-35’s Helmet Mounted Display Systems give pilots unprecedented situational awareness. For the first time, those in the cockpit can see a 360-degree view through the skin of the plane, as well as mission data projected in the helmet’s visor.

The F-35’s Multifunction Advanced Data Link not only lets the aircraft talk to each other without sacrificing stealth, it manages all mission data for the pilots including target files, weather, flight paths, and more.
