Girl Scout Sells 117 Boxes Of Cookies In 2 Hours After Setting Up In Front Of A Marijuana Dispensary

This is a real thing that happened.

This is 13-year-old Girl Scout Danielle Lei and she's probably the smartest teenager in the world. She set up a table of cookies outside of The Green Cross, a marijuana dispensary in San Francisco.

Mashable got ahold of Danielle and her mom Carol and found out that Danielle sold 117 boxes of cookies in only two hours. Because weed.

The photos of brilliant young businesswoman Danielle selling cookies are not to be confused with a fake photo that had circulated earlier in the month of Girl Scouts doing the same thing.

The photo circulating of Colo Girl Scouts selling Girl Scout Cookies in front of a marijuana shop is a hoax.

At the time, an official Twitter account for the Girl Scouts of Colorado tweeted that it does not allow girls to sell cookies in front of dispensaries.

If you are wondering, we don't allow our Girl Scouts to sell cookies in front of marijuana shops or liquor stores/bars.

The chapter then reaffirmed that position Thursday night. Though the California chapter of the Girl Scouts said that it has no issue with it.

@ManOfEast It is not something we advocate for our youth to be involved in.

The Green Cross isn't the first dispensary Danielle has sold cookies in front of. Her mother told Mashable that it's a good way to broach the topic of the difference between drug use and medicine with her daughter.
