There are 49 downloadable Facebook sticker packs available.
Some are good and some are really, really bad. This ranking will determine which packs are worth downloading.
Don't waste your time on inferior stickers. This is an actual scientific study.

Terrible, just terrible. The options in this pack offer little (if any) emotive response and some are downright nonsensical. It is hard to imagine a situation in ANY conversation where the sticker of a gummy fish and a creepy, almost pre-pubescent man with a red beard would come in handy.
Okay, props to Facebook for sticking with what they know - but isn't this all just a little contrived and old? We get it, thumbs up, thumbs down. It's your thing. Cool.
This doesn't even make sense. The whole pack is just a combination of bad emotions that would never apply in conversation, and when they do there's better options. Also, she's a little young to be in space.
Ok, food with faces is kind of cute. Blue's Clues taught us that. But this is dumb.
This sticker pack gets points for aesthetics because it has SOME interesting design choices. Other than that it's beyond boring. How many cute dog gifs does one need, you ask? According to the makers of 'KOKO,' the answer is 44.
Don't worry, THIS sticker pack isn't named after a culturally insensitive expression. The character in question LITERALLY HAS wide eyes. Aesthetically it's all pretty same-y and the pack holds the usual emotive responses. It loses points for uniqueness though. It's just a lot of drawings of a deformed girl.
If you believe the creators, this little snot-ball is actually a 'monster.' That aside, it offers some redeeming qualities in that it interacts with a variety of different props. Unfortunately, its eyes never change - leading to a inability to express emotion. It loses functionality points for that.
What it lacks in functionality it makes up for in...well, nothing. I guess it's kind of a homage to pop art? I don't know.
If Hitler designed a sticker pack this would be the result.
This sticker pack seems to be based on the adolescent life of a blue-haired Justin Timberlake. There's a full range of emotions and most (although not all) would be appropriate in conversation. Uniqueness really lets it down because there is an almost identical sticker pack called 'Hacker Girl.'
Plenty of expressions but not much else. Although this weird dinosaur/blob/demonic creature knows how to change colour, he doesn't know how to captivate. Boring.
"Oh, cool. 3-D emojis." - An eight year old.
The more functional, less attractive sister of 'Hacker Boy.'
This is the kind of shit you send to someone when you're too afraid to say "I love you."
The fact that this sticker pack is dedicated to one month (October) lets it down in functionality.
"Merry Christmas! Here's a sticker of a Jack-O-Lantern!" - No one ever.
Did somebody drop a scrabble board? Honestly. This sticker pack feels like it's the result of a brainstorm of four year olds. Still, it's certainly unique. Can't take that away from 'em.
Essentially a compilation of every heart-related sticker on Facebook. Pass. I'd use this pack probably twice a year. Find the one sticker within the 'Love Is In The Air' pack and download its parent pack. That's the right way to do it.
Great if you're looking for a sticker that conveys the emotions 'shocked' and 'smug,' but if you're not you should look elsewhere.
Facebook continues to try and convince the world that they're not a company with ALL YOUR INFORMATION through the cunning use of foxes.
This let me down because I really wanted to love it. There is not a big enough range of emotions and the character becomes stale over time. Still, I fucking love dinosaurs.
This pack is pretty cute, but all the stickers are 2-D and there's only so much a fat rabbit can do.
A penguin that enjoys winter...who would have thought? Although this is the only penguin-related sticker pack, so it wins in that realm. Overall you could say this sticker pack is pretty 'cool.' He he he...
All the benefits of the "Mugsy in Love" pack without all that stupid 'love' shit.
Yet another sticker pack saved by its 'uniqueness.' From a functionality perspective I can't imagine when the sticker of a (monster?) drinking coffee would come in handy. But that's just me.
At the end of the day it's just a pretty dog.
The only sticker pack to feature turkeys. Shame they don't DO anything.
Who is this little guy? What does he do? Where is he from? And why is he the way that he is? NONE of these questions are answered within the 'Beast' sticker pack! Yay!
The creepy uncle of Pusheen.
Apparently, all there is to do this year is celebrate whilst keeping the same arbitrary face locked in, staring into the souls of others.
Pandas are cool. But anyone that has been to a zoo (or China) and seen a panda in the flesh knows that they're actually pretty boring to look at. They're not exactly 'athletic.' And that's the issue this sticker pack faces.
Couldn't POSSIBLY be a tie in with the recently released film. Regardless, the pack is quite pretty and Lego will always be fucking awesome. Shame they're just standing there, dressed up like boxers.
Another 'cool' sticker pack. No but really, this one actually has some emotion! Not a bad effort from the folks at Disney to tie in with the film.
Soooooo cute! Soooooo useless! At the end of the day, 'Pusheen Eats' delivers on what it promises. Pusheen. Eating.
Like the spider that lives in my shower, I have a strange affinity with this sticker pack. It lacks function, sensibility and overall polish but it has a sort of can't-put-my-finger-on-it allure.
Different, but scary as all Hell.
You'd be forgiven at first for thinking that this thing was the stuff of nightmares - and you might be right. Still, it's a weird little sheep creation and the pack is named after a famous composer. Thumbs up.
This pack is a perfect example of how a pack that is only slightly above average can score pretty well. Why's it called 'Plum' anyway? The bird looks pink to me.
Steve Zissou fans unite.
This thing is adorable if not a little repetitive. But hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
At first I thought this bear was creepy, but over time I've been swayed to its hypnotic ability at conveying meaning. What might first appear as a 2-D and nonsensical illustration grows, developing into a fully fledged sticker pack which is well worth downloading. It's a bit repetitive, though.
Don't be sad, little monkey. You're awesome! Shame there's another pack that looks almost exactly like you...
A little bit cuter than 'banana.'
If you don't like monkeys you don't like yourself.
If Keith Haring designed a sticker pack this would be it.
It's better to be good across the board than great at only one aspect. Agree/Disagree.
Everyone loves snoopy and everyone loves using stickers to convey emotion. Winning combination.
Incredibly well polished and functional beyond belief, this pack proves that the classics are often just that - classic. Well worth inclusion in any conversation, 'Meep' excels at expressions and functionality. Don't waste your time on 2-D, small, and boring emoji when you could be using this.
There's a reason this was one of the first sticker packs Facebook rolled out. 'Pusheen' is almost a complete pack, with interesting graphics, a big range of emotion and a clever premise. Its uniqueness suffered due to the spin-off pack, 'Pusheen Eats,' but it still retains its title as one of the most needed downloads on your Facebook messenger.
Of course.
