Thousands of people have posted pictures of themselves on Twitter giving a “thumbs up” sign in memory of cancer fundraiser Stephen Sutton.
The 19-year-old died on May 14 after losing his battle with cancer.
The teenager from Burntwood, Staffordshire, inspired people to donate over £4 million to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
A two-day vigil is currently being held at Lichfield Cathedral for people who want to pay their respects to the inspirational teenager.
His mother Jane asked people to join a “Thumbs Up For Stephen” thunderclap on Twitter at 11am on Friday, inspired by one of his last Facebook posts.
And at 11am, thousands of people uploaded pictures of themselves giving a "thumbs up".
Sutton's family will hold a private funeral after the vigil at Lichfield Cathedral ends.
