4.“I love how people’s emotion right before they splash down is either total excitement or fear or cringing,” the social worker told the magazine.

6.She said her pictures came after a wretched winter, and she was pleased to be able to create something that highlighted the joy of summer.

8.“I just thought, you know what, this really does capture just how wonderful it is to be enjoying summertime,” Long added during the interview.

10.The series was created after she perfected her timing. She then used Photoshop to blacken out everything behind the swimmers to make the image more striking.
