Daniel's plan was to pick Alex up and have her see individual signs he had left along the road saying, "Alex. Will. You. Marry. LOL JK. Go To. Prom. With Me."
But Alex thought the first sign said "Lee" and didn't realize it was for her.
Alex started reading along with the signs and Daniel couldn't stop smiling, thinking he had totally nailed this one!
But his hopes and dreams were crushed when she, thinking the signs were for someone named Lee, announced how sh*tty the whole thing was.
And the marriage joke didn't seem to really go over well either...
When Alex finished reading all the signs, Daniel still looked somewhat hopeful...
Until Alex totally cut him down by letting him know what a bad promposal that was.
Suddenly, though, Alex realized that the whole thing had been made for her!
She felt so bad!
What an emotional roller coaster! But don't worry, Daniel, I'm sure she'll go to prom with you after all.
