An Incredible Bird's Eye View Of The Ceramic Poppies Outside The Tower Of London

The art installation is even more impressive from above, thanks to the Met Police Air Support Unit's helicopter (courtesy of @MPSinthesky).

The Metropolitan police helicopter filmed this footage while hovering over the Tower of London.

The 888,246 poppies around it are ceramic, and each represents a British military fatality in World War I.

Artist Paul Cummins named the installation “Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red”.

The last poppy will be "planted" on Armistice Day, 11 November.
