This Might Just Be The Drink Of The Summer

    Repeat after me: frozémonade.

You know that feeling when you meet someone and really hit it off, and it immediately feels like you've known each other forever?

That's exactly how I felt when I tried frozémonade for the first time.

Frozémonade is rosé and lemonade blended together into a wine slushie. It is literally everything you could want in a summer drink.

It's cold, has just the ~right amount~ of booze, and is SUPER EASY to make.

To make one drink, combine 3/4 ounce lemon juice, 1 ounce simple syrup, and 4 ounces rosé in a 12-ounce glass.

"You want a rosé that's a little bit fruity, with some color," says Kruger. "It shouldn't be anything expensive, but it should be something you'd want to drink*." Rosé with a darker, deeper color will make for a prettier drink, and the fruit flavors will pair well with the citrus.

*So, we don't recommend that you make this with some cheap, terrible boxed wine. But if you decide to do that anyway, it'll ~probably~ still taste pretty good.

Fill the glass up with crushed ice, then screw on the blender top.

If you're using a full-size blender, you'll fill the blender up with crushed ice. It's important that you don't use big ice cubes, since they're much harder to blend.

Blend just until it turns to slush.

Garnish with some mint, if you're feelin' it.

You're gonna want to drink it quickly, because it's that good, but beware of ~frozémonade freeze~.

Frozémonade freeze is what happens when brain freeze and inebriation happen at the same time. It is unpleasant.
