An NFL Player Dressed As Harry Potter For A Press Conference And It Was Perfect

    He's definitely a Gryffindor.

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman showed up to a press conference Wednesday night in full Harry Potter garb, answering questions as Harry Potter.

As Potter-ish music played from his phone, Sherman, explained the delicate differences between football and Quidditch.

    What's tougher, 5 quarters of football or Quidditch? 🤔 @RSherman_25 #Halloween

"Five quarters of football is pretty tough, but Quidditch — the beaters, the chasers, trying to find the golden snitch, things like that, that's tough."

Sherman said his young son Rayden asked him to dress up as Harry.

Sherman's love of Harry Potter is well-documented. Here he is wearing a Hogwarts School shirt back in August.

And in a September USA Today interview, he talked about his favorite Potter character. Pssst... it's Ron.

Potter fans and Sherman fans were understandably in love.

In short, Sherman-as-Harry Potter was pretty much perfect.

"When you’re a wizard like we are out here, sometimes you have to show it to the Muggles out in the world."
