15 Hilariously Real Texts Kids Send Their Poor, Poor Parents

    "Hi mother I just farted."

Since it's 2017 — aka the future — we now have to deal with a very modern parenting issue: texting with our kids.

You first "text" with your kid when they're a toddler and grab your partner's phone.

It isn't long, though, before they start using that damn English language they learned in school to send you actual texts.

A whole lot of these texts are, sigh, potty-related.

Most of them don't make a lick of sense.

And when they discover the poop emoji? Let's just say it's a very trying time for you and your family.

Speaking of emojis... Kids, uh, really like them.

Often, your kids are happy to have conversations all by themselves.

But most of the time they expect a response — like when they're tattling on their sibling.

Kids also harass you to bring home goodies like McDonald's and whipped cream when you're out.

They text when you're trying to enjoy a night out, too.

The worst, though, is when they discover how to voice-text and send long missives like this one about how they REALLY need to find their Nintendo DS charger!

The good news, though, is that your kids' texts don't just annoy/upset you. They make you smile, too.

Their phonetic spellings are super cute, too.

    "Awqupie are selfs" 😂

And when they send you texts like this last one, they REALLY make you smile.
