These Teens Were Saved From Drowning In Freezing Water By Two Super Hot Models

The six teenagers walked onto to the ice to take a selfie.

Six teenagers who fell into ice-cold water in New York City's Central Park on Monday night have been saved by two male models.

Australian model Ethan Turnbull, and his friend and fellow model Bennett Jonas, were skateboarding through the park when they spotted a group of teens who had fallen through the surface ice sheet into freezing water. The teens had wandered out onto the ice to take selfies.

"We just came around the hill and I could see them standing on the ice... as we came back 'round I heard them screaming by that stage, and when we got there they were well submerged in the water," Ethan said in a video on his Instagram.

"The guys at the back were just on top of one another," he said.

Bennett jumped into the water and helped push the six teens towards Turnbull, who stood above the ice and dragged them out. Bennett denied he was a hero, and said it was more a case of being in the right place at the right time.

"I had to make a decision to get in the middle of that or watch them drown," wrote Bennett on his Instagram. He said he wasn't sure if the sixth and final person he rescued was alive when pulled from the water.

"I'm still shaking and am completely shook by what I experienced, but I'm alive and so are six other kids who got very lucky tonight."

BuzzFeed News has sought comment from Turnbull.
