John Lithgow (a.k.a. "America's Favorite Everything") is Larry Henderson, a good-natured, absent-minded professor who's been accused of his wife's brutal murder.
As innocent as Larry seems, he just can't stop saying the wrong things at the wrong time...EVERY time.
So Josh, his big-city lawyer, travels to Larry's small town and recruits a ragtag team of locals to solve the mystery, hoping to clear Larry's name once and for all!
That is, unless Larry actually did it...
