Beyoncé's Rep Furiously Shut Down Claims She's Had Lip Fillers

"I stood silent during Beyoncé's first pregnancy when you thought it was OK to bully her when you accused her of never being pregnant, but I simply cannot this time."

In case you've been living under a rock for the past few months, Beyoncé is currently pregnant with twins.

Since her iconic confirmation of the pregnancy, Beyoncé has been glowing.

But earlier this week, MediaTakeOut published a story that drew attention to Beyoncé's lips and suggested she'd recently had them surgically enhanced.

Usually, Beyoncé simply doesn't respond to tabloid reports, but in this instance her publicist has issued a statement, defending the singer.

The statement was issued to Gossip Cop and addressed to "MediaTakeOut staffers." It read:

What do you know about the effects of pregnancy on a woman's entire body? Please tell me. Did you know that in addition to weight gain there is often a dramatic change in the blood flow in the system and increased fluid causing swelling? Do you know that often women's gums get swollen? Do you know that it sometimes affects our speech, our ability to chew intently and a host of other things?

The rep went on to say they had "stood silent" during the "bullying" Beyoncé dealt with during her first pregnancy, but refused to do the same this time.

    They said:

But the sacrifice to our faces, our feet and our entire bodies is something we welcome because we bring beautiful humans into the world who will one day combat your hate and negativity. I stood silent during Beyoncé's first pregnancy when you thought it was OK to bully her like the cowards you are, when you accused her of never being pregnant, but I simply cannot this time.

The statement ended by calling the people behind the story "sad" and "cold-hearted" individuals.

    It read:

You are the saddest individuals and picking on a pregnant lady is tantamount to possessing the coldest, despicable heart. You need to find something else to do with your time and maybe stop by a store that has happiness on sale because you need to buy some.

BuzzFeed has contacted Beyoncé's representative, as well as MediaTakeOut, for comment.
