    8 Steps To Open A Bottle Of Champagne

    Serve like a pro when celebrating Valentine's Day with your loved one

    1. Chill the bottle of Champagne before opening.

    Place the bottle in an ice bucket for 20-30 minutes or in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Ideal temperature is 47-50°F.

    2. Peel the foil away from the cork.

    Most Champagne bottles have a small tab to make this easier.

    3. Untwist the metal loop to loosen the wire cage.

    4. Remove the wire cage while keeping a firm grip on the cork.

    5. Gently rotate the bottle – NOT the cork.

    It is also recommended that you gently apply pressure to the top of the cork to control the cork’s exit speed.

    6. Voila! Ready to serve.

    7. Hold the bottle by its base and pour into a tilted glass.

    8. Enjoy! And remember, Champagne only comes from Champagne, France.
