23 Reasons JC Was Actually The Best Member Of NSYNC

    It's mostly the hair.

Okay, so everyone agrees *NSYNC is the greatest boy band of all time.

But there's a common misconception that Justin "Ramen Head Ass" Timberlake was the leader of the band.

    1. When, IN FACT, Mr. Joshua Scott "JC" Chasez was the heart and soul of NSYNC.

    2. He was the best singer in the group, hands down.

Sure, Justin was known for his falsetto, but when a song needed power, they went to JC.

    3. Don't believe me? The court would like to introduce exhibit A: "This I Promise You," maybe the best showcase of JC's range.

Seriously, watch this whole video and tell me JC isn't the best singer in the group.

    4. Real heads know.

    5. There's a reason he has the lead verse on NSYNC's biggest hit "Bye Bye Bye".

    6. Not to mention he co-wrote some of the band's most underrated bops including "Digital Get Down," "Space Cowboy (Yippie-Yi-Yay)," and "Selfish".

    7. OKAY, but more importantly, JC's real strength was his muffukkin HAIR.

    8. It started out spiky.

    9. Then it did this middle part thing.

    10. Okay here was a small misstep where JC looks like he'd like to speak to the manager.

    11. But he really hit his stride when he embraced the POWER MULLET.

    12. Here's the mullet getting cozy with Lenny Kravitz and a trucker hat.

    13. He showed us mullets can be ~baller~.

    14. Only JC has the steeze to pull off a mullet AND a mustache.

    15. Then he hit us with the extra long mullet.

    16. The mullet helped him get his Bono on.

    17. Yet, only a year later, he'd flattened it out. Seriously, his hair has more range than his voice.

    18. Literally days prior he had curls, looking very Robb Stark.

    19. In the mid-2000s he cleaned up his look.

    20. And he's maintained it. Here he is with the rest of the gang celebrating his 40th (!) birthday last year.

    21. Again.

    22. He went as Andy Warhol for Halloween.

    23. Oh, and he can still sing, obvs. Here he is serenading a friend at a New Year's Eve party.

In conclusion: sure, JT has had the better career, but true *NSYNC fans know who the real hero was.
