I don't know about you, but when I first heard about Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's engagement, I was just like, "........OKAYYYYY???????"
But, the more I learn about their relationship, the more they become one of my fave celeb couples. For example, did you know that Ariana knew she wanted to marry Pete years before they even became friends??
Well, a couple of days ago, Ariana was a guest on the Zach Sang Show where she spilled the tea on how Pete proposed! She said, "It was just really simple and really sweet."
“We were just hanging out and he had a ring, and he just asked me. It was really sweet. He didn’t get on a knee or anything, thank God…oh my God, that would’ve been so googly.”
She continued, “I’m not like a very traditional person, so the fact that I’m even getting married is something I never even saw coming...like, I never wanted that."
"I was like, ‘Fuck that, there’s no point...what’s the point?’ And then I kinda understood it when it was like, with the right person.”
The Sweetener singer also opened up about wedding plans, revealing, "We're waiting, but we're planning...I kinda don't wanna tell anybody anything 'til it's, like, done."
But, she does know two things: It won't be in LA, and she already has a few people lined up for her bridal party. Oh! And, we know that she won't be taking his last name.
Anyway, Ariana and Pete are cute AF and I definitely think they should have a Harry Potter-themed wedding.
