    Ever since the coronavirus outbreak began spreading around the globe, celebrities have been donating to good causes to try to help those in most need during this difficult time. Here are some of the ones who have publicly announced their donations and chosen charities...

    Kylie Jenner donated $1 million to help purchase protective gear for health care workers and first responders.

    Through her Clara Lionel Foundation, Rihanna donated $5 million to be distributed between five organisations: Partners In Health, Direct Relief, Feeding America, the International Rescue Committee, and the World Health Organization.

    Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively donated $1 million to be split between two food bank charities: Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. Ryan also pledged a portion of profits from his Aviation gin company to the United States Bartenders Guild.

    Taylor Swift donated an unspecified sum to the World Health Organization and Feeding America. She also donated $3,000 each to a number of fans around the world who are currently struggling.

    Angelina Jolie donated $1 million to No Kid Hungry, an organisation that strives to end child hunger in the US.

    Gwyneth Paltrow, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Mila Kunis all made substantial donations to a fundraiser for frontline responders.

    Ciara and Russell Wilson donated a million meals to Seattle food bank Food Lifeline.

    Ariana Grande revealed she had donated to and was supporting a number of organisations, including Opportunity Fund, GiveDirectly, Feeding America, Croce Rossa Italiana, and the World Health Organization.

    Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos reportedly donated $1 million to help with the purchasing of ventilators and to help provide shelter to women and children who are homeless in New York City.

    And Jimmy Kimmel has revealed that he will be donating to a different charity every day during his quarantine. So far, he has donated to No Kid Hungry, the American Red Cross, Feeding America, the USBG Foundation’s Bartender Emergency Assistance Program, the LA Food Bank, the World Central Kitchen, and Meals on Wheels.
