Padma Lakshmi Perfectly Called Out A Magazine That Confused Her For Priyanka Chopra

"I know to some we all look alike, but πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ..."

This is Padma Lakshmi. You probably know her best as the host of Top Chef.

Padma was just featured in The New Yorker, as part of their "celebrity cartoon takeover." But when the publication shared her photo on Instagram, they made a rather glaring error: They tagged her as Priyanka Chopra.

To be clear, THIS is Priyanka Chopra. She's an actor, producer, and the wife of Nick Jonas. She is definitely NOT Padma Lakshmi.

The New Yorker eventually took down their Instagram post, but Padma screenshotted their mistake and shared it on her own page, along with her response.

"Thank you to the illustrious '@nydailynews' for the shoutoutπŸ˜‰," she wrote, intentionally calling The New Yorker by the wrong publication's name with a winky face.

"I know to some we all look alike, but πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ... #desilife #justindianthings," she added.

And on Twitter, she retweeted some jokes that others made about the whole ordeal.

Props to Padma for handling it with a sense of humor, but...BIG GIGANTIC SIGH.

    I just cackled πŸ˜‚ https://t.co/s9e9DWAWjO

Anyway. If you don't already follow Padma on Twitter and Instagram you absolutely should, because her content game is seriously πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯.
