Billie Eilish Reportedly Had Her House Blurred From Google Maps After A Man Allegedly Showed Up To Her Home Seven Times

    Billie said she "doesn't feel safe" in her childhood home during an interview with Rolling Stone last year.

    Billie Eilish has reportedly had her house blurred from Google Street View after she was granted a temporary restraining order against a man who allegedly showed up at her LA home seven times in one week.

    On May 11, TMZ reported that the man, Prenell Rousseau, must stay at least 200 yards away from Billie and her family, and must cease all contact with them.

    According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the man allegedly showed up, rang the doorbell, and asked Billie's dad, "I think I might have the wrong house, but does Billie Eilish live here?"

    "While we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue," Billie alleged in the report. "My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused."

    She added that the man was exhibiting "erratic" behaviour, and despite leaving at the request of security, he returned hours later and lay down behind a wall, attempting to camp there overnight.

    The next hearing in the case is scheduled for June 1, but in the meantime, Billie's house has reportedly been blurred from Google Maps.

    According to the Sun, stars like Paul McCartney, Lily Allen, and Jimmy Page have requested to have their homes blurred from the search engine in the past.

    A spokesperson for Google told the outlet: "If a person sees that their face or license plate requires additional blurring, or if they would like us to blur their entire house, car, or body, they can submit a request using the 'Report a problem' tool."

    "To ensure the effectiveness of our measures to validate public requests for blurring, we do not publish details," they added.

    The 18-year-old still lives with her parents at her childhood home in Los Angeles, where she and her brother Finneas wrote and recorded her record-breaking debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

    But, in an interview with Rolling Stone in July last year, she opened up about the security issues her family has experienced since she shot to fame.

    "I completely don’t feel safe in my house anymore, which sucks," Billie said, recalling an occasion when an older man showed up at her house after driving all the way from San Diego.

    At the time, she called the situation "traumatising".
